Steps to Make Kombucha
- To begin with, in a pot; boil some water and add loose tea leaf or the two aforementioned tea bags.
- Now, turn off the heat to allow the tea leaves to be strained for about five minutes prior to removing the leaves or the tea bags.
- After this, add sugar and stir in order to allow the sugar to dissolve. Next, allow the sugar tea to cool and then pour it into the Kombucha Jar.
- Further, add on the Kombucha Scoby or the starter along with the starter liquid into the jar and mix well and then cover up the jar with a breathable lid and put a jar in a cupboard or a similar place and permit the preparation to ferment over seven to ten days in a temperature ranging between twenty to twenty-four degrees Celsius.
- Having done this, you’ll find that a new Scoby has formed and if you are content with the taste of the Kombucha, pour it into a glass container and preserve it in the refrigerator. Steps To Make Carbonated Kombucha
- Add one part of fruit juice to 9 parts of Kombucha in a jar. Then mix them.
- Having done this, pour the mixture into a glass-made bottle and place the lid tightly
- Now, take the bottle and place it in a cupboard at room temperature.
- The mixture is now allowed to ferment for a day or two.
- Finally, transfer the bottle into the refrigerator in order that it may chill and serve.
